The open science movement concerns the entire research process, for science which is more transparent, reproducible, and representative of bibliodiversity and multilingualism.

Open access to publications and data does not suffice to encourage their use in globalised research. Communicating about your research and monitoring its impact using traditional or alternative indicators (altmetrics) provides a way of identifying the most effective strategies in your research field and of improving reception.

Envisage opening the entire research process (codes, methods, protocols, peer review, open citations, appraisal by researchers) to help make science more trustable and credible.
